The PV Peninsula High Drama Club presents “The Creature Creeps!" a hilarious comedy which opens on Thursday, May 6.

The play takes place in an ancient castle high in the Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania. Mild-mannered mad scientist Baron Von Blitzen and his unconditionally devoted assistant Mord are interrupted from their work in their secret laboratory by the unexpected arrival of the Baron's clueless daughter Daisy, her fiancee Frank Sterling and her roommate Babsy Ballou. As screams shatter the night, the story unfolds and keeps the audience guessing. Why do villagers keep vanishing? Will romance work out for Daisy? Will Frank Sterling be the brave young hero once he discovers the Von Blitzen secret? Does the Baron's grim housekeeper ever smile? What is going on in the castle cellar? "It's alive!" shriek the castle guests! You won't want to miss this outrageous comedy.

“The Creature Creeps!" is directed by seniors Kaitlin Van Volkom and Samantha Hill and produced by Erica Bower.

There will be 4 performances starting Thursday, May 6. Tickets are $9 with a special opening nightticket price of $7. The show times are 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
