Congratulations to our school newspaper staff and their advisor, Jennifer Reichert. Thirteen PVPHS journalism students just returned from the National Journalism Convention in Portland, Oregon. Of these 13 students, eight competed in specific write-off competitions and six won awards. The students competed against schools from all over the country, including schools in Sacramento, California, Kansas City, Missouri, Tampa, Florida, Sandpoint, and Idaho.
“At this convention, only ‘the best of the best’ compete, and it truly is wonderful to see our newspaper honored,” principal Kelly Johnson said.
